Festival Overview
Perugia’s historic center sits high above the Umbrian landscape, a dense hill town of medieval lanes, stone arches, grand civic rooms, and escalators rising through the Rocca Paolina.
Eurochocolate fills that vertical city with cacao aromas, demonstrations, branded displays, artisan stalls, and crowds moving between Corso Vannucci and Piazza IV Novembre. The spectacle is playful, but the hill town gives it substance.
Each tasting requires another climb, alley, or architectural encounter, preventing the festival from becoming a conventional trade hall. Chocolate provides the theme; Perugia’s layered urban form determines the pace, atmosphere, and memory of the day. Umbrian food traditions remain close at hand, giving the sweetness a savory regional counterpoint whenever the palate needs relief.
