Festival Overview
The Colorado Renaissance Festival transforms a wooded hillside in Larkspur into a lively sixteenth-century village where the day’s entertainment comes from wandering as much as watching. Rather than focusing on a single headline performance, the experience unfolds as visitors move between artisan-filled marketplace lanes, live entertainment stages, the jousting arena, food courts, and encounters with musicians, comedians, and costumed villagers who remain part of the story throughout the day. It is a festival designed to reward curiosity, encouraging guests to slow down, explore side paths, and become part of the atmosphere instead of simply observing it.
