Festival Overview
Prince Lot Hula Festival in Honolulu is a day built around hula as a living Hawaiian art rather than a quick stage show. The heart of it is the main hula performance lawn or stage, where hula halau presentations unfold with live Hawaiian music accompaniment, while the surrounding craft and cultural demonstration area and food vendor area keep the day rooted in local practice and community gathering. It has the feel of a long, unhurried cultural day outdoors: people settle in, watch closely, listen to the mele, and move between performances, food, and demonstrations without losing sight of the hula at the center.
