Festival Overview
Trinidad and Tobago Carnival transforms Port of Spain into a city organized around movement, music, and masquerade. The experience unfolds between Downtown Port of Spain, Queen’s Park Savannah, and the surrounding neighborhoods as thousands of masqueraders, spectators, vendors, musicians, and residents occupy the streets from before sunrise until late at night. Rather than concentrating on a single stage or parade route, Carnival spreads through the city as a living social event where music trucks, costume bands, and public participation become part of everyday urban space.
