Festival Overview
The North Dakota State Fair in Minot is the state’s largest annual gathering, pulling together a cross-section of North Dakota’s rural and small-town communities for nine days of concerts, rodeo, agricultural competitions, and midway spectacle. The fairgrounds sprawl across the city’s north side, with the Grandstand concert stage drawing big-name acts, livestock barns bustling with 4-H and FFA youth, and the midway carnival area lighting up the prairie sky each night. This is where North Dakota’s farm culture, youth programs, and summer energy come together in a way that feels both regional and all-American.
