Festival Overview
The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire turns the Mount Hope Estate grounds in Manheim into a full-day Tudor-style village of costumed performers, staged rivalries, shopkeepers, musicians, and hearty fair food. This is not a quick walk-through event: people come to spend hours moving between the artisan marketplace, performance stages, tavern areas, and the joust arena, often in costume themselves. Across its late-summer to fall run, the feel stays playful and theatrical, with a strong emphasis on live interaction, shouted banter, handmade goods, and the pleasure of drifting from one spectacle to the next.
