Festival Overview
The Pineapple Festival brings Gregory Town together around Eleuthera’s celebrated sugarloaf pineapple and the farming families who have kept the crop alive for generations. The event is more than a tasting fair. It is a homecoming, agricultural showcase, community reunion, and island celebration built around a fruit closely tied to Eleuthera’s identity. Visitors move between pineapple displays, local food, drinks, crafts, music, competitions, and conversations with residents who understand how difficult and important small-scale pineapple farming remains. Gregory Town’s low-key settlement, nearby coves, and long island roads make the festival feel rooted in place rather than staged for visitors.
