Festival Overview
Treefort Music Fest turns downtown Boise into a five-day network of clubs, theaters, breweries, outdoor stages, classrooms, and side programmes known as forts. Music remains the trunk, but Storyfort, Filmfort, Hackfort, Foodfort, Alefort, Yogafort, and other branches let the city’s creative communities define the route.
The festival rewards movement at human scale. A promising band in a small room may lead to a filmmaker, a food conversation, or a late set several blocks away. Boise’s flat grid and compact center make that wandering possible while exposing the practical limits of capacity, weather, and attention.
