Festival Overview
World Music Festival Chicago turns the Loop into a short-hop circuit of international performances, with concerts spread across the Chicago Cultural Center, Millennium Park, and other Loop cultural venues over four September days. Instead of one fenced site, the festival feels like a downtown music crawl shaped by different rooms, different audiences, and a lineup built around artists from multiple traditions and styles. The appeal is in hearing a set indoors, stepping back out into the city, and then heading to another performance a few blocks away.
