Festival Overview
United Islands of Prague treats the Vltava corridor as a discovery route for emerging Czech and European music. The main outdoor programme gathers on Štvanice, with related stages and club performances extending into Karlín, Holešovice, and the wider city. Water, bridges, embankments, and former industrial districts give the festival a geography unlike a sealed field.
The draw is not a list of established headliners. Audiences arrive to hear artists still building their reputations, moving between genres and languages with few assumptions. Free access and voluntary support lower the barrier to curiosity while making the economics of cultural discovery unusually visible.
