Festival Overview
Toronto Caribbean Carnival reaches its peak during the Grand Parade, when Lakeshore Boulevard and Exhibition Place become the center of one of North America’s largest Caribbean cultural celebrations. Massive costume bands, towering feathered creations, music trucks, dancers, and spectators stretch across a route that feels more like a moving festival city than a traditional parade. The event draws participants and visitors from across Canada, the Caribbean, and beyond, creating an atmosphere that blends cultural pride, music, dance, and community on an enormous scale. While celebrations take place throughout the city during carnival season, the Grand Parade is the moment most visitors build their trip around.
