Festival Overview
Rainforest World Music Festival feels tied to place in a way few large music events do. The setting at Sarawak Cultural Village gives the weekend a different shape from a straight stage-to-stage sprint: afternoons open into workshops, artist sessions, craft areas, and the village houses and grounds, then the energy gathers toward the evening concerts. People come for the global lineup, but the rainforest-edge setting and the long-running daytime program are what make the festival feel like Sarawak rather than a touring event dropped into a field.
