Festival Overview
A short ferry ride from Amsterdam Centraal reaches a different urban texture: cranes, warehouses, open concrete, and the wide water of the IJ. DGTL uses the NDSM shipyard landscape as more than a backdrop, dividing electronic music across industrial interiors and exposed outdoor spaces where weather, light, and skyline remain part of the experience.
The programming moves between house, techno, and more exploratory sounds, while the event’s circularity and sustainability ambitions appear in food systems, waste reduction, energy experiments, and design.
This combination gives the weekend its identity. It feels connected to Amsterdam’s club culture but expanded into a temporary docklands city—large enough for spectacle, raw enough to retain the edge of the former shipyard.
