Pinkpop is built around the Megaland festival site in Landgraaf, with the Entrance and wristband check acting as the real threshold before people split off toward the Camping areas or head straight into the Main stage area and the Secondary stage areas. For an attendee, the geography is practical and easy to feel in your legs: arrivals stream in along the Landgraaf station access route or through the Parking and shuttle access points, afternoons mean repeated crossings between the Main stage area and the Secondary stage areas, and after the last set the whole flow reverses back out toward camp, trains, and car parks.

If you are arriving on Friday, expect the slowest entry from late morning into mid-afternoon and pack so you can get through the entrance and wristband check without unpacking half your bag. Pick one or two must-see acts each day, because the late-afternoon switch between the Main stage area and Secondary stage areas can eat more time than it looks on paper. If you are camping, do one proper reset before evening—water, food, extra layer, phone charge—so you are not trekking back during the headline run. After the last set, give yourself patience: the walk out toward camp, station, shuttles, or parking is part of the night.

Your biggest split is whether you do Weekend camping or stay elsewhere and commute into Landgraaf. Camping can cut lodging costs but still leaves you paying festival-price food and drinks across three days; staying offsite adds train or parking costs and puts you into the post-headliner rush each night. Inside Megaland, Landgraaf, expect repeated small spends on beer, soft drinks, frites, burgers, pizza slices, and broodjes to add up quickly over June 26 to June 28, especially if you are on site from early afternoon through the final set.

The tightest spot is the Main stage front-of-crowd area during headline sets, where the crush builds fastest; if the space starts feeling too packed, step out early rather than waiting for the song break. Entrance queues and security lanes can be slow on arrival, and bars and toilet corridors get jammed between major sets, so do not leave every break to the last minute. In the Camping areas at night, watch your footing and keep a light handy. After the final act, expect a slow walk and longer waits toward station, shuttle, and parking routes.
